LMFT-Associate #206001

I’m a relationally focused therapist, and also a dreamer, a writer and storyteller, an adventurer, a rebel and an activist, a community organizer, and a fiercely loyal friend, partner, and parent. I’m a therapist, but I’m also a human—just like you. It’s this shared humanness that I believe to be central to the healing work of therapy. In order for you to feel safe enough to share your most vulnerable hopes, fears, and traumas, I feel it’s immensely valuable to show up as authentically as I can in turn.

I work to foster a safe and empowering space for individuals, couples, and families to sift through their stories and experiences in order to better understand themselves and their patterns and allow space for healing from trauma and attachment wounds.

How I Work

I approach therapy as a collaborative journey between myself and my clients. You are the expert of your own experience, and I view it as an honor, a privilege, and a responsibility to be allowed into your world to do this work with you. I believe the foundation of good therapy rests in a strong therapeutic relationship in which we can be authentic, honest, and open.  I am an eclectic therapist and blend a variety of different modalities into my work, tailoring my therapeutic approach uniquely to each individual client based on their specific needs, areas of focus, interests, and personality.

Modalities I Draw From

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Sandtray Therapy

  • Somatic Work

  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

I offer sex positive, kink, and consensual non monogamy (CNM) informed perspectives with my couples and individuals. Social justice advocacy is foundational to my therapeutic work. I work from a queer, feminist, decolonial, antiracist, and culturally aware lens. I believe the personal is political and that none of us can truly be free until all of us are free. I strive as much as possible to stand up for these values in the face of injustice, continue to educate myself on systems of power and oppression, and do my part towards creating a more just and equitable world.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals, couples, and multi-partner relationships across diverse identities, including all spectrums of gender, sexuality, cultural heritage, and relationship orientation. I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+, polyamorous, and kink communities, as well as artists, creators, and those forging their own path.

Areas of focus include:

  • Relationship, sex, and attachment trauma

  • Attachment work, especially avoidant attachment and emotional avoidance patterns

  • Exploring the intersections of queerness, neurodiversity, and sexuality

  • Non-monogamy discernment counseling for couples and multi-partner relationships

  • Healing from anxiety, depression, PTSD, C-PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and BPD

I enjoy working with clients of all ages and life stages, from young adults to retirees. My ideal clients are those deeply committed to their healing journey—willing to be vulnerable, patient, and engaged in the process of growth.

If we seem like a good fit, I would love to connect with you.

Who I am

I am a multifaceted being with rich life experience, passionate and endlessly curious about learning and growing. My multiple identities inform my practice and perspective, so I will share them here.

I am queer, neurodivergent (ADHD), and polyamorous, and these identities have forced me to find nuance and forge my own path in the world beyond mainstream scripts of how to live and love.

I am a single mother of a 9 year old girl whom I have raised on my own for most of her life. I am deeply aware of the struggles, hopes, dreams, fears, and wonder that is parenthood, as well as systemic issues facing single parents.

I am also a survivor of multiple abusive relationships, and the process of learning what love is and what it isn’t through my own therapy is what ignited my passion to become a relationally focused therapist myself.

I spent much of my adolescence and early adulthood digging deep into myself through meditation, learning to grow food and studying permaculture and sustainability, and living a nomadic lifestyle. This allowed me to deeply explore both my inner and outer existence, leading to a broader and deeper understanding of myself and my relationship to the world I inhabit. All of these parts of my history and identity come together to make me the individual and therapist I am today.
